<關於Ketchup的故事>
小六的暑假,我跟人本去莫尼黑時,在機場買麥當勞,
要結帳時店員問我們"Ketchup?" 那時候完全沒聽過Ketchup是啥
以為Catch up是某種外帶的專有名詞,就傻傻地說yes,
於是獲得一條番茄醬
從此就一直以為Ketchup就是番茄醬~

結果今天和老師聊到我自己用Fresh tomatoes做義大利麵醬(Fresh tomatoes sauce)
她問我,會不會在Fresh tomatoes sauce裡面加Ketchup?
我愣了一下,心想Tomatoes sauce不就等於Ketchip嗎!?
一問才知,原來Ketchup有很多種,較酸的是用番茄做的,較甜的是用香蕉做的~
Ketchup多用來炸時沾醬用
Tomato Sauce則是料理過程中調味用的~

我真是太才疏學淺了~但是這樣學習真有趣、印象深刻!
